"Spitfire" was released as the third single by American recording artist, LeAnn Rimes, from her eleventh studio album, Spitfire (2013), by Curb Records on September 10, 2013.[1][2] The song is written by Rimes, Darrell Brown, and David Baerwald. It is also produced by Rimes and Brown with associate production by Niko Bolas.[3][4] A set of remixes was also released via digital download on September 10, 2013 as well.[1][2] A music video for the song was released April 9, 2013.[5] Two remixes, "Spitfire" (Dave Audé Dub) and "Spitfire" (WAWA Dub Remix), have also leaked to the internet but where never officially released.[6]
